EVGA and Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1660 Spotted

The upcoming GeFore GTX 1660 (non-Ti) is set to release tomorrow, 14 March 2019, and today we see leaked images of EVGA and Gigabyte cards. The GeForce GTX 1660 should have 1408 CUDA cores and 6 GB GDDR5 memory, putting it a bit below the Ti version and presumably to be the direct succesor to the GeForce GTX 1060 3 GB.

Images Suggest GeForce GTX 1650 to Have 4 GB Memory

Andreas Schilling, an editor for the German news website Hardwareluxx, has posted some packaging images for the GeForce GTX 1650. In addition to the images, he has also stated that the card would contain 4 GB memory.

NVIDIA recently launched the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti with a starting price of US$ 279, making it the most entry level and affordable Turing graphics card available. The Turing-based GeForce GTX cards are based on cut down but otherwise similar silicon to their RTX counterparts, with the biggest difference being the lack of RTX support and tensor cores. The GeForce GTX 1660 Ti won’t be the only member of the family, however, with the GeForce GTX 1660 non-Ti and GeForce GTX 1650 making an appearance soon.

Battlefield V Gets NVIDIA DLSS Support

NVIDIA’s DLSS, or Deep-Learning Supersampling, is a form of image-quality enhancement that uses the Tensor cores found on GeForce RTX series cards (note that due to this it won’t work on GeForce GTX series cards). Battlefield V has become the first game to make use of rendering technique, with the latest patch adding support for DLSS.
